Philliber Research & Evaluation is currently working with two large organizations to help gain insight to emerging field of noncognitive competencies, also called social-emotional learning or SEL. They are Strive and the New York City Student Success Collaborative. Each is interested in the relationships between these competencies and academic success. PRA is compiling measures of noncognitive competencies, reviewing the research that shows a link to academic success, and creating a working definition of each competency.
