Some preliminary Evaluation results of the ‚ÄúCompassionate Arts Remaking Education‚ÄĚ Program (CARE), were presented at a breakfast on November 2nd. Cleveland Playhouse (CPH), in collaboration with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) and funding from the U.S. Department of Education, developed the theatre education program. Philliber was hired as an independent evaluator to compare four CARE sites with four other CMSD sites that were chosen based on the demographic similarities. The program helps students deal with trauma related to poverty, violence and other challenges.

A recap of the meeting and the success the program is available here on the CMSD website.
